Velpic rapidly expands internationally

Published at Aug 3, 2016, in Technology

Cloud-based video e-Learning company Velpic Limited (ASX:VPC) is rapidly progressing its e-learning platform in the international marketplace, namely the United Kingdom and United States.

VPC has successfully tendered for inclusion into the UK Government procurement portal, G-Cloud.

The G-Cloud replaces the tender process, fast tracking purchase decisions for public sector organisations.

Inclusion into the G-Cloud is an important milestone for VPC as it validates the reliability of VPC’s services with an international government body.

Over £18 billion (AU$31.6B) of purchasing decisions are expected to be made over the G-Cloud platform in the coming three years.

The deal gives VPC access to over 38,000 government departments including, local councils, schools and libraries which can now sign up to VPC’s services.

Public sector buyers in the UK that sign on to VPC’s services will pay SaaS subscription revenue fees for access to the video e-Learning platform, along with Pay Per View (PPV) fees for each lesson completed.

Whilst over in the US VPC has completed full integration into NASDAQ-listed ADP’s global human resources management Marketplace.

The ADP Marketplace allows employees to manage business applications in one simple and secure location.

The ADP integration puts VPC in front of the current 630,000 ADP customers in more than 100 countries.

There is no guarantee of the uptake of VPC’s platform in these regions, so apply caution to any investment decision you make in this company and seek professional financial advice for further information.

Employees throughout the world are now able to purchase VPC’s products through ADP’s global catalogue of services.

Sales will be completed through ADP’s own payment gateway to which VPC will offer per user pricing to access the video e-Learning platform.

Chief Executive Russell Francis sees today’s announcement as a significant commercial milestone in VPC’s history with expected revenue uplift opportunities to follow.

The latest developments signify that there is an addressable market opportunity abroad for its e-Learning platform.
