Empire Resources begins high grade ore processing
Empire Resources Ltd (ASX:ERL) has provided an update on its progress at the Penny’s Find Gold Mine.
The Penny’s Find Joint Venture (PFJV) has now commenced its fourth toll treatment campaign at the Lakewood Mill located on the outskirts of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in Western Australia.
ERL has indicated that the latest toll campaign will process some 28,000 tonnes of high grade ore from the open pit at Lakewood.
Once the Perth Mint and mill reconciliations have been finalised, ERL will release a final processing summary for the current treatment campaign in May.
The company also expects to finalise a Project Management Plan and underground reserve statement for the campaign by the end of this month.
Previous toll campaigns on site have returned pleasing results, with the third treatment campaign returning an average calculated head grade of 6.03g/t gold.
