Our Brazilian lithium Investment, Solis Minerals (ASX: SLM) announced yesterday an early update from its drilling in the Borborema province.

SLM has completed 2500m of drilling so far and hit visible spodumene identified in six of

the fourteen drillholes so far.

Below is the most promising intercept from this round of drilling, MVDDH0002, which intersected 168.8m1 (true width 48-75m) of pegmatite.

It is early days at this project and we await assays from this drilling which SLM.

We think expectations are currently low for SLM after the company withdrew from another Brazilian project - discoveries are rarely instant and we expect it might take SLM a number of cracks at drilling to unlock the potential of the wider collection of tenements it has in the Borborema province.

To that end, SLM is undertaking an extensive geochemical sampling program which is scheduled to be completed in early 2024.

What’s next for SLM?

Assays 🔄

We’re hoping this provides more information about the overall mineralisation, and helps SLM refine further drill targets.

Results from geochemical sampling program 🔄

In addition to the assays, results here could generate new targets for SLM.
