Our US based oil and gas explorer 88 Energy (ASX: 88E 🇦🇺| OTC: EEENF 🇺🇸) just put out an updated investor presentation on the results from its 2023 drill program.

88E’s 2023 well (Hickory-1) drilled a 647 million barrel prospective mean unrisked resource (net to 88E) on the North Slope of Alaska, in the USA.

Now, 88E has kicked off the permitting and planning process for a flow test in late 2023/early 2024.

The next step will be to select and secure a suitable drill rig to run the program.

At the moment 88E is still completing post drilling analysis and expects the final results from the analysis to be received in early Q3-2023.

Here is everything we know about 88E’s Hickory-1 well so far, the images first list the pre-drill expectations and then the post-drill results 88E has received to date:

See our latest 88E note for our take on the results: 88E delivers 450 feet (~137m) of net pay - now we wait for the flow test…

What’s next for 88E?
