FaceTime has been compromised.

Apple has disabled the group FaceTime feature on iPhones, after it was found that users could initiate a call and listen to the recipient’s audio without the user picking up.

That’s far from ideal.

It’s an unfortunate blow to the tech giant, which has spent years attempting to distinguish itself from the filth that is Silicon Valley.

It just recently picked a sensational fight with Facebook, accusing the social media giant of developing a secret data-collection app to users.

Apple's dispute with Zuckerberg and co. centered around Facebook's scheme to pay users (some as young as 13) US$20 per month to install a 'research' app, that could have potentially collected intimate data about their online behaviour and communications.
