Internet of Things solutions provider Sensera Limited (ASX:SE1) has been selected by Autodesk (NASDAQ:ADSK) to participate in its Residency Program at its Technology Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

As a backdrop, Sensera delivers sensor-based products transforming real-time data into meaningful information, action and value.

The company designs and manufactures hardware and software across the vertical technology spectrum from unique structures as MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) and sensors, as well as wireless networked systems and software that when combined, drive an entire IoT platform solution.

The network of Autodesk Technology Centers in San Francisco, Boston, Toronto and Birmingham, UK brings together industry, academic, and entrepreneurial communities to create a shared vision of the future of making.

Autodesk generates annual revenues of US$3.2 billion

Autodesk is a major player in an industry closely aligned with Sensera, and the group generates more than US$3.2 billion in annual revenue.

Sensera’s IoT location awareness solutions came shortly after the company signed a global distribution deal with NYSE-listed Arrow Electronics.

Meanwhile, SE1’s fiscal 2020 revenues and order book are building well after the group grew income by 60% to US$10.2 million in fiscal 2019.

The Microdevices and IoT Solutions business units increased revenues by approximately 75% and 54%, respectively.

Close to 50% of the total revenue related to contracts executed in fiscal 2018 with Smartbow (now Zoetis) and Abiomed, and these will continue to provide a substantial contribution to revenues into fiscal 2020.
